Beginning

Hi dear reader(s).

My hat off to you for reaching here.

This is my first post on this new blog. Yes, it’s spanking new as you would have realized by now. As introduction, I’ll give a brief explanation on my blog layout so as to avoid confusion.

At the top of the blog is the blog title and underneath it is one of the many headings you will find here.

Further down you will see three tabs; home, profile and full rss feed. The names speak for themselves. The home tab is where you can read my posts. Comments can be made for every entry as there is no restriction from me. I am a firm believer in freedom of speech.

The profile tab serves as a gentle reminder of the author, yours truly. I revealed some general details of myself, but not enough to give my identity away unless I revealed it to you. However, photographs will be posted from time to time. So dear readers, be my guest and take a guess who I am from those visual clues.

Clicking full rss feed tab directs you to feedburner.com, allowing you to er...subscribe my blog's feed.

Meanwhile, anyone know what’s the boiling point of blood? It popped up in my head while I am writing this. Kind soul who has the answer can reach me at wn.fong.v3@gmail.com

And now back to the blog layout, there are four…urm… widgets on the right, namely Recent Posts, Categories, Archives, and Blogroll. Again, the names speak for themselves except maybe for Blogroll. Blogroll is a list of blogs that I visit from time to time, and it is there for the reason that you may be interested in whose blogs I troll.

On the left where you can see strings of words are actually my blog entries. At the end of every entry, you may leave comment(s). Compliments or criticisms, I’d say bring it on.

Again, my hat off to you if you are still reading this.

After a lengthy and maybe unnecessary guide, I would like to divulge the purpose of starting this blog and hopefully keeping it alive. As you can see, my blog is where I post everything between black and white. Most of the time, life is not as distinct as black and white. There is a colourful spectrum in between those two ends. These colours are the colours of my life. Since I am in the middle of my own life, (note: not the whole universe, just my own life), naturally I’d prefer grey (gray for US English), the colour in the middle of black and white, as the name of this blog. In short, this blog will be all about the colours of my life signifying everything within my reach, and grey, yours truly.

That concludes greynut’s first ever post on the new blog.

Stay tuned for the next one. Adieu, greynut signing off.
